Rector Kutluhan Makes Investigations in Kale

Pamukkale University (PAU) Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan continues to work on meeting the physical and technical infrastructure needs in faculties and vocational schools within the scope of the preparations for the 2021-2022 academic year, which is planned to start formal education and training activities. In this context, Rector Prof. Dr. Kutluhan made a series of examinations at Kale Vocational School.
He examined on-site historical research studies on tombstones belonging to the Ottoman Period, whose history dates back to about 400 years ago. Providing brief information about the studies on gravestones, Prof. Dr. Beyazıt stated that they identified the old tombstones found in the cemetery one by one from the 1640s to the 19th century, and stated that the tombstones gave important information about the history and culture of the period.
