PAU Returns from TEKNOFEST 2021 with Awards
Pamukkale University (PAU) returned from TEKNOFEST 2021, which was held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport between September 21-26, 2021, with second and third place prizes.
Sigun Team, supervised by Assoc. Dr. İsmail Ovalı, became the second in Turkey with the mobile humanoid robot 4 project designed and produced under the sponsorship of NCT Academy by Pamukkale University Technology Faculty students (Team Captain Osman Kaan Karatay, Ege Yılmaz, Veysel Mert Evin, Yağmur Kenel, Tayfun Öztan, Abdullah Köse, Ali Gökçe). The main purpose of the multi-functional mobile humanoid robot developed by the Sigun Team is to improve the social life quality of individuals with disabilities; At the same time, it has a user-friendly interface that can move autonomously, process images.
PharmaScar Team came third in Turkey in the Biotechnology Innovation Competition - Project Category with its Medicinal Aromatic Plant Extract and Nano-Biodegradable Wound Dressing projects. The PharmaScar Team members, supervised by Pamukkale University Faculty of Technology Faculty Member Assoc. Dr. Yusuf Özcan, are Pamukkale University students (Team Captain Dicle Erden Gönenmiş, Esranur Kızılhan, Hale Ayşe Karaman). Medicinal Aromatic Plant Extract and Nano-Biodegradable Wound Dressing project aims to provide a solution to a longstanding problem for the global health system such as skin injuries, one of the common forms of trauma.
