Message from Rector Kutluhan to Prospective Students

Dear Young People!

YKS results have been announced. I wish these results to be auspicious for each of you. I hope that your efforts will pay off and you will start your university life.

Pamukkale University is a well-established university that has left its 30th year behind. With this experience, it has guided and continues to guide its students, city and country with our researches that shed light on the future and the present, the qualified education we provide and our productions that add value in many fields.

Our university is one of the leading universities in the Aegean Region, which carries out its education and training activities with 19 faculties, 6 institutes, 1 college, 17 vocational schools, and can offer you the qualified education opportunity you are looking for in line with the programs you aim for.

With the mission of a productive university and the vision that the university is the guide of life, we are improving our education and research activities every day and strengthening them in order to provide you with a better and up-to-date education.

Thanks to our central campus in the city and the public and private dormitories and accommodation facilities right on the border, you can have the opportunity to live the student life you dream of in our nature and student-friendly campus with its central dining hall, cafes, social and cultural areas without having transportation and accommodation problems.

In addition to the study areas and canteens in our faculties, which our students can benefit from during their extracurricular time, our central library with a capacity of 1200 students and our Book Café, which provides 24/7 free and unlimited internet access, offers our students the opportunity to study and learn in a comfortable environment. 

We continue to work with all our strength to prepare you for life and to make you successful in your professions with our lecturers who are qualified, experts in their fields and who value their students, our lectures that we conduct in the form of teacher-student meetings, our problem-based learning and application-oriented education approach, and the 'On-the-Job Training' that we continue to implement within the framework of 3+1 and 7+1 models.

Pamukkale University, which ranks 9th in exports in Turkey and has strong relations with Denizli and the business world, where many important national/international brands are located, offers our students extensive networking and internship opportunities with other career events, collaborations and agreements.
We also support your development with the double major and minor programs of our University, which we attach great importance to. Our students who prefer us have the opportunity to get a double diploma by gaining expertise in different fields with this application. On the other hand, we also have the SUNY (The State University of New York-Cortland) Dual Diploma Program, which is implemented in 6 universities in Turkey. With this program, which is implemented in our Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, our students will study in our faculty for the first two years and in New York for the last two years.

Our university also makes a special effort for its students to be abroad, receive education and get to know different cultures, and sends its students abroad through Erasmus and Mevlana exchange programs. In this context, our university has 512 active agreements with 39 countries. We continue to expand our education abroad network and increase the number of students we send abroad by adding new ones to these agreements every year.

In addition, we work with PAU Hospitals, MEDIKO, Psychological Counseling and Guidance Unit and Student Support Units to protect the physical/mental health of all our students and to meet their various needs. We support our students economically by offering them the opportunity to work part-time in different units or by offering various scholarship opportunities.
