UTFES’26 Successfully Completed at PAU
The “Time Series Seminars” organized within the scope of the “International Trade and Finance Econometric Analysis Seminars 2026 (UTFES’26),” initiated by Prof. Dr. Şaban Nazlıoğlu in 2018 and held for the eighth time this year at the Pamukkale University (PAU) Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS), were successfully completed between February 2–6 and June 17–19.
The seminar, which aimed to enhance the knowledge and practical skills of graduate students and academics in contemporary econometric analysis methods, was held with strong participation. As part of UTFES, which has been organized regularly for the past eight years, current methods used in time series econometrics were addressed in line with contemporary econometric approaches widely adopted in the international literature. The training content also incorporated the studies through which Prof. Dr. Şaban Nazlıoğlu has contributed to the international academic literature. Thus, participants had the opportunity not only to examine the theoretical foundations of these methods but also to gain insight into how they are applied in scientific research and international publications.
Standing out with its practice-oriented structure, UTFES continues to serve as an important academic training platform aimed at enhancing the research capacity of graduate students and academics while supporting the production of high-quality scientific publications. Through UTFES, the FEAS also aims to continue organizing such educational activities in the coming years to further improve the quality of scientific research and graduate education.
