The first speech and moderation of the panel titled “Our Rights and Responsibilities in the Digital World” were delivered by Chief Public Prosecutor Kürşad Kağan Ergün. After briefly sharing his career story, the Chief Public Prosecutor explained the dangers awaiting especially young people in the digital environment. Providing brief information about legal processes, Prosecutor Ergün also addressed crimes committed in digital environments and fraud incidents carried out through various methods.

Subsequently, Yumrutaş Police Station Commander Sergeant Major Mustafa Özgüner delivered a presentation on the organizational structure of the Gendarmerie, its activities, and its duties. He also referred to the principles of cooperation between judicial bodies and law enforcement agencies and briefly mentioned Gendarmerie career processes.

Another speaker of the panel, District Gendarmerie Commander Major Semih Karakaş, spoke about his own education and career journey and emphasized that they, as the Gendarmerie, do their best to support and inform students. He also addressed cybercrime and provided information about recruitment processes within the Gendarmerie. Central Police Station Commander Lieutenant Abdurrahman Çelik, another guest who addressed topics such as security and cybercrime, informed students about issues they should pay attention to.

Following the speeches, the panel continued with a question-and-answer session and concluded with Acıpayam Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Ali Kurt and Vice Director Assoc. Prof. Hüsnü Ergün presenting certificates of appreciation to the guests and gifts prepared by students of the Footwear Design and Production Program as a memento of the day. A commemorative gift was also presented to District Judge Melike Ergün, who attended the panel as an audience member and met with the students.
