T3 Foundation Denizli Provincial Representative Emre Verim Met with DSBMYO Students
Within the scope of the Career Planning course organized by the Department of Foreign Trade at Pamukkale University (PAU) Denizli Vocational School of Social Sciences (DSBMYO), Emre Verim, Denizli Provincial Representative of the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), met with students in the “Career Talks” seminar.
During the program, attended by students, Emre Verim delivered an inspiring presentation on career planning, personal development, sense of responsibility, and the vision of the National Technology Initiative (MTH).
In his presentation titled “The Spirit of MTH”, Emre Verim emphasized to young people the importance of standing firm in the face of life’s challenges and underlined that an individual should not compromise their values on the path to success. Guiding his talk with the phrase, “Winning a struggle by neglecting the values we fight for has no meaning,” Verim invited students to reflect on both their professional and moral responsibilities.
Focusing on the questions “Why should we act, for whom should we act, and when should we act?”, Verim stated that identity is shaped by the responsibilities one undertakes. Highlighting the role of family, education, and social environment in character development, he emphasized that a sense of belonging strengthens the awareness of responsibility.
Emphasizing that great goals can only be achieved through great efforts, Verim encouraged young people to go beyond mediocrity with the understanding, “Great achievements do not emerge from ordinary effort.” At this point, he drew attention to Turkey’s national technology initiative and shared information about the activities carried out under the T3 Foundation, including TEKNOFEST. Students were provided with detailed information on projects such as Deneyap Technology Workshops, T3 Academy, Science Turkey, T3 Entrepreneurship Center, and the Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Scholarship Program.
At the end of the program, students had the opportunity to ask questions about the national technology vision and career planning. The seminar concluded effectively, motivating young people and contributing to the reshaping of their future goals. The seminar, organized by Research Assistant Dr. Mükrime Öksüz Demirgubuz, ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to Emre Verim by DSBMYO Deputy Director, Research Assistant Dr. Bahar İslamoğlu Alköse.
