Under the coordination of Instructor Aslıhan Tugan, students worked on their weekly designs in the garden, drawing inspiration from the greenery of the Acıpayam Vocational School garden to design shoes suited to the sole of the week.

As part of the course, students will design at least three shoes each week to match the soles presented by Instructor Aslıhan Tugan and will prepare three different designs using the same sole. In the coming weeks, themes such as spring, the red carpet and autumn are expected to be selected, with collections designed accordingly. As part of the project, which aims to help students recognise the elements that guide design and imagination, students will create mood boards—visual collages bringing together ideas, colours, images, fonts and textures at the beginning of the design process. A collection consisting of at least five designs related to the selected theme is planned.
