“The speed of integration of digitalization into human life has increased. The importance of environment-oriented activities has become evident and the demand for businesses with high sensitivity to social developments has increased. In the field of tourism, which is one of the sectors directly affected by the developments in the outside world, dynamism and flexibility have become extremely indispensable concepts. In this context, it is seen that the World Tourism Organization emphasizes the theme of "Rethinking Tourism" for the 2022 World Tourism Day. The theme of “Rethinking Tourism” draws attention to the importance of raising awareness about the changes in tourist expectations and being ready for all conditions. In line with the proposal of the World Tourism Organization, the United Nations recognized September 27 as World Tourism Day in 1979 in order to create and develop tourism awareness in the world and to emphasize the environmental, economic, political and socio-cultural importance of the sector."Rector Kutluhan: "We are honored to host the 7th International 23rd National Tourism Congress, which was decided to be held in 2023 and which will be attended by many academics from national and international fields."
