Lecturers from Acıpayam Vocational School Meet High School Students at Science High School
Lecturers Dr. Figen Keskin and Dr. Fatma Filiz Yıldırım from Pamukkale University (PAU) Acıpayam Vocational School (Acıpayam MYO) met with high school students as invited guests of Acıpayam Cumhuriyet Science High School.
Dr. Figen Keskin delivered a conference titled “Diction and Effective Speaking,” sharing information with students about the importance of correct and effective speech, the use of body language, and the development of oratory skills. In the well-attended conference, high school students had the opportunity to improve their diction through practical examples.
Dr. Fatma Filiz Yıldırım was the speaker of the conference titled “What is Reading Comprehension and Speed Reading?” In the session, which was followed attentively by students, information was shared on speed reading techniques, methods for improving reading comprehension skills, and attention development. It was stated that such meetings and educational collaborations, which are examples of Acıpayam Vocational School’s contributions to society, will continue.
