Taban, who started his sports life during his final year of high school while doing an internship, coincidentally became acquainted with arm wrestling. Influenced by a conversation during his internship, he turned to this sport and quickly recognized his talent, beginning training in a short time. Making his first serious test in the Inter-High School Afyonkarahisar Arm Wrestling Tournament held in February 2025, Taban achieved first place in the left arm and second place in the right arm, marking a significant success. Coming to Denizli for his university education, the successful athlete did not stop his training despite not finding sufficient equipment to continue his workouts. He continued his individual training in parks, and with this determination, he prepared for the inter-university championship and made a significant breakthrough.

In the Inter-University Turkey Arm Wrestling Championship held on March 4–6, our student delivered an outstanding performance, becoming Turkey champion in the right arm and Turkey runner-up in the left arm, bringing pride to our university. The successful athlete also participated in the Turkey National Team Selections held on April 7–12. Despite an intensive training program and disciplined work, Taban completed this organization in 7th place, continuing to move forward more decisively toward his goals with the experience he gained. Abdülkadir Taban continues to represent PAU at the national level successfully, drawing attention with his dedication to sport, determination, and achievements.
