Cybersecurity Training for DSHMYO Students by Denizli Police Department
Teams from the Cybercrimes Division of Denizli Provincial Police Department organized a cybersecurity awareness training session for first-year students of Pamukkale University (PAU) Denizli Vocational School of Health Services (DSHMYO).
The training, conducted in four separate sessions, covered a range of current topics from safe internet use to cyberbullying. As planned, expert personnel from the Cybercrimes Division delivered the sessions on October 1–2 between 10:00–11:00 and 11:30–12:30, focusing on methods of protection against cybercrimes and raising awareness about digital threats.
The training content included topics such as “safe and conscious internet use,” “internet addiction,” “cyberbullying,” and “the dangers of illegal online betting sites,” all of which address digital risks students may encounter in their daily lives. The final session was attended by the School Director, Prof. Dr. Olcay Güngör, and Deputy Directors, Lect. Dr. Deniz Koçyiğit Kaplan and Lect. Dr. Hilal Parlak Sert, who met with the students.
At the end of the program, Prof. Dr. Olcay Güngör expressed gratitude to the cybersecurity experts for sharing their valuable knowledge and presented them with certificates of appreciation.
