Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration Society Opens Workshop Exhibition
The Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration Society of Pamukkale University (PAU) presented to visitors the works produced during two workshops organized in the 2025–2026 Academic Year.
The Glass Mosaic Workshop, held between December 17 and 20, was organized within the framework of the ÜNİDES program of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Under the instruction of İnci Çatal, who came from Istanbul, participating students learned both glass cutting and processing techniques as well as how to transfer a composition onto a wooden panel. Through intensive work carried out over four days, the logos of six excavations conducted by Pamukkale University faculty members were created on panels. During the spring semester, participating students continued working on and completed the panels. Within the scope of this workshop, the logos of the Laodikeia, Tripolis, Stratonikeia, Yassıhöyük, Attouda, and Sillyon excavations were prepared using the glass mosaic technique.

Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Koyuncu Okca from the PAU Technical Sciences Vocational School served as the workshop instructor.
