At Pamukkale University (PAU) Denizli Health Services Vocational School (DSHMYO), the “Child and Women’s Rights Poster Exhibition,” prepared by students taking the “Child Rights” and “Child Rights and Family Education” courses, was opened to visitors between 4–8 May.

In line with Pamukkale University’s mission of social awareness and sensitivity to human rights, another meaningful event was hosted. Within the scope of the “10 Years of Family and Population” initiative declared by the Presidency, the exhibition attracted significant attention as students transformed their theoretical knowledge gained in the “Child Rights” and “Child Rights and Family Education” courses into creative poster works.

Associate Professor Dr. İbrahim Halil Yurdakal and Lecturer Fatma Gülten İlavlı were responsible for the organization of the exhibition and the delivery of the courses. Students combined fundamental concepts related to children’s and women’s rights with strong visual narratives aimed at raising awareness. Held within the framework of the “10 Years of Family and Population” initiative, which aims to strengthen the family institution at the local level and address population policies in a human-centered manner, the exhibition highlighted issues such as the position of women and children within the family, rights-based approaches, equality, protection, and participation rights.
