Bekilli Vocational School Students Participate in the Ulubey Canyon – Clandras Hike
The “Ulubey Canyon – Clandras Hike” event was held on Monday, October 27, with the participation of nature enthusiasts. The approximately 9-kilometer route offered participants the opportunity to spend an enjoyable day in nature while also promoting awareness of a healthy lifestyle.
The event was attended by Bekilli District Governor Mr. Ferdi Akgün, District Police Chief Ali İhsan Çoban, District Gendarmerie Commander Çağatay Durmuş, Deputy Director of Bekilli Vocational School Lecturer İsmail Çelikak, students from Bekilli Vocational School, and staff from the Youth Center.
Participants enjoyed the natural beauty along the trail extending to the Clandras Bridge, accompanied by the breathtaking scenery of Ulubey Canyon. Throughout the hike, environmental cleanliness, respect for nature, team spirit, and a sense of solidarity were emphasized. The students had the opportunity to both increase their physical activity and strengthen their social bonds through this event. Members of the local administration and Youth Center staff joined the students on the hike, adding color and motivation to the event.
At the end of the event, participants expressed their satisfaction with the organization and emphasized that such activities enhance love for nature and environmental awareness. Bekilli Vocational School stated that they take great pride in their students’ active participation in social, cultural, and sports events and expressed their wish for such activities to continue increasing in number.
