A conference was organized in the first part of the event. Academicians, staff and students attended the conference.

In the conference held by the experts of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, information on prevention, protection, evacuation, first aid, emergency medical intervention, rescue and fire fighting, how to make the necessary arrangements to ensure contact with organizations outside the institution and similar issues were given. Fire extinguishing tools were introduced and how to use them was shown practically. In addition, explanations were made for all personnel working in institutions and organizations within the scope of the regulation on the protection of buildings from fire; to minimize the fires that may occur during the operation, maintenance and use of all kinds of structures, buildings, facilities and enterprises used, to give fire safety information to the personnel, to identify the risks that create fire, to show the precautions and behaviors to be taken to prevent fire, to teach the evacuation methods and ways in case of fire, to increase the knowledge and skills of all employees in institutions and organizations to minimize the damage that may occur in case of possible fire and disaster situations.

In the second part of the event, a fire drill was held in the school garden. With the participation of the fire extinguishing team and all personnel, fire extinguishers were emptied and extinguishing was carried out within the scope of fire intervention training in a safe area. With the realistic drill, what to do in emergencies such as fire and how to evacuate the personnel was practiced.

At the end of the event, Honaz Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Hülya Kabakçı Karadeniz and Head of Property Protection and Security Department Dr. Necla İrem Ölmezoğlu İri presented a certificate of appreciation to the experts of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department.
