Acıpayam VS Family Year Event
Within the scope of the 2025 Presidential Family Year Activities, Pamukkale University Acıpayam Vocational School (Acıpayam VS) organized a seminar on Family Year and Spouse Selection in Marriage. Held on October 23, 2025, at the Acıpayam VS Conference Hall in cooperation with the Acıpayam Social Services Center Directorate, the seminar featured Psychologist Bahar Baday, who provided information on the Family Year and the institution of marriage.
The seminar was attended by Acıpayam VS Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Kurt, academic staff, and students. Also present were Acıpayam Social Services Center Director İlhan Erdağ, who expressed the institution’s readiness to support university students, and Psychologist Sinem Ünal, who engaged in discussions with the students.
During her presentation, Psychologist Baday shared information on the Family Year, the family and youth fund, the Support for Young Couples project, family education programs, spouse selection in marriage, self-awareness, and understanding potential partners. Recommended books on marriage were also discussed. At the end of the seminar, participants took a test developed by renowned Psychologist Isamu Saito, designed to help understand and clarify spouse selection in marriage. The test prompted smiles and lively engagement, and the audience listened with interest to the discussion of the results.
