The administration of Acıpayam Vocational School, which is accelerating its efforts to integrate its associate degree programs with both academic and practical training, has carried out another important meeting to further strengthen industry collaborations.

Acıpayam Vocational School Director Associate Professor Ali Kurt, who has previously implemented important protocols regarding students’ internships and employment and has paved the way for institutional steps in this regard, most recently hosted Securitas Security Denizli Provincial Director Necati Akhan, a globally operating company representative.

Akhan, who is also a private sector senior representative on the Vocational School Advisory Board, was hosted by Head of the Department of Property Protection and Security Aylin Arık and Lecturer Sinan Avan. Discussions were held regarding planned protocols and projects with Securitas, with which cooperation had previously been established through Erasmus projects led by Department Head Dr. Aylin Arık, who had visited international security firms abroad.

Views were exchanged on what can be done for the internship programs of current students and the employment of graduates.
